Journal Entry 10/29/09

My heart isn't allowed to sing. My heart is on a strict poem regimen because it's tone deaf. And no sonnets! Those things are just singing...incognito. We don't take to kindly 'round here to things being all sneaky like. So no singing for this heart of mine. Now we can write poems, and we shall write poems. We will write poems about love and philosophical mysteries.

Bleh. I'm still sick feeling. Lets go muse over some John Locke's Social Contract.

Journal Entry 10/27/09

It's important to mean what you say because if you don't then people will soon take notice and then they'll stop valuing your words. Or even worse, if people still value your words then if you say something hurtful, like a friend recently did to me, then they'll take it to heart.
Also, I think it is highly important to SAY these things and refrain from texts. Mmkay? Cause that is cowardly and disrespectful. Man up and face people. For centuries that's what people had to do and they were better to cope with reality because of it.

Mean what you say and say it for real.

Journal Entry 10/22/09

So today is a free write and today I feel good. I think, sometimes, that I spend too much time murdering myself with just all these things that I have to do. I never seem to just let myself chill. Well last night I finally had enough time to chill and I used that time to sleep. I slept so good. I came home, I ate some soup, and I was out like a light. I slept and slept and slept.
I think I'll do the same tonight.

I'm Samantha Jarrell and I like sleep. I like it alot.

I think people should stay young at heart because you don't want to forget the basic lessons we learn from childhood. We learn important aspects to life like truth, honesty, love, happiness, and fairness. When we forget these things, we become like Stalin, and Stalin was not good. We don't want to be Stalins.

Stalin people = not fun!

Your attitude has everything to do with success. If you can't have a positive attitude then you'll be stuck in Debbie Downer Land and your success will be extremely hindered. It's not good stuff.
So as we can tell having a positive attitude helps. Though I do understand those times when you really just don't want to have a positive attitude and at those times, it is best to just get it done to the best your ability.

So yeah rock the 'tude.

A true friend is someone who always has your back but at the same time can be chill enough to jokingly get under your skin. True friends will keep your head on straight without putting you down. True friends are amazing people like your broadcast team :)))))

True friends will also be the people that will let you pull on their sleeve all through a scary movie even if it completely ruins their shirt and their mom calls it the "Tramp Shirt" for forever more.

Today is a momentous day. TODAY IS MS. MERRILL'S BIRTHDAY!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LADY!!! IT'S AMAZING!!
So I totally think you should go home and have a BIG ketchup feast! Just like make ketchup sandwiches, ketchup noodles, ketchup tacos, ketchup with eggs, and if you're feeling adventurous, go for ketchup soup :))))

I have never had a job. I'd really like one. They're kind of essential to living nowadays, unless you're really lucky and all that steady income stuff is taken care of for you. I want to have a reliable flow of cash coming into my pocket so that I can make purchases that I will enjoy, and be able to save up for things that I have long been after.
